Kairos – FORM Dance Tasks

Sydney Pageant presents
KAIROS
Meryl Tankard
FORM Dance Tasks I World Premiere

In historic Greek, Kairos is “the proper or opportune second for doing, a second that can’t be scheduled.” That second is now for director Meryl Tankard AO, composer Elena Kats-Chernin AO and visible artist Regis Lansac OAM, who’ve created  a vibrant new dance work responding to those unsure and difficult instances.

Commissioned and produced by FORM Dance Tasks and created by three world-renowned Australian artists and very long time collaborators, with the subsequent era of dance makers, this Sydney Pageant world premiere will embody an enormous lexicon of human expertise and human motion: the darkish and difficult; the ugly and exquisite; the humorous and joyful.

“Tankard’s present for digging deeper into fundamental instincts… uncooked physicality colors the choreographer.
