Quick ahead to 2022, and he was up for one more portrait! We stayed at school this time, on a black background, and used some gels and sidelight to create the under. The lighting grid for under was two Profoto B10X Plus strobes, gelled, fired by RFI 1×3 strip tender packing containers, behind Darrin, off to the edges. Entrance mild was a Profoto A2, fitted with considered one of their ingenious Professional-Clic tender packing containers, with a cloth grid entrance diffuser. Switching again to a vertical FX format on the Z 9, with a 24-70mm f2.8 at f/8, we tried one other pose. Further DOF wanted for the lead arm. Identical mild grid, with the addition of an A2 fired down into the ground and bouncing off a silver Halo reflector, laying flat on the bottom. This small quantity of fill mild opens his face up a bit, and scoots some mild beneath the brim of his cap.

Then, I requested Darrin to offer me the look as if he had pulled me over, and he’s arrested me earlier than, and he is aware of me, and right here I’m going once more, entering into hassle. You realize, the “Critically?” look.
