“Eastsiders” by Photographer Gregory Bojorquez

[ad_1]
Within the early to mid 90’s, photographer Gregory Bojorquez was working at a digital camera store in Pasadena and spending his free time hanging out with pals round his hometown, the Eastside of Los Angeles. He began taking movie and artistic writing courses on the Metropolis School, which impressed him to start photographing his day by day life. The ensuing sequence is an iconic portrait of a specific time and place, considered by the intimate lens of an insider. Since then, “Eastsiders” has been featured in group and solo exhibits each nationally and internationally, and was just lately printed as a photobook by Little Massive Man Books. The work is at the moment on view by October thirty first at These Days, Los Angeles in an exhibition titled “Déjà vu All Over Once more.”
