Meet The New Futures artists exhibiting at The Different Artwork Honest, December 1-4 at The Cutaway.
The New Futures program is a part of our continued mission to interrupt down conventional obstacles of the modern artwork world by giving prizing to gifted, usually underrepresented, rising artists. Every recipient is given free exhibition house at The Different Artwork Honest together with entry to networks and alternatives designed to jump-start their careers.

Clementine is a textile artist and painter at the moment residing on Gadigal land. Though a formally-trained painter, she has been stitching for so long as she will be able to keep in mind. Zoe Toakley is an artist residing and dealing on Gadigal Land in Sydney. She graduated from the Nationwide Artwork Faculty in 2019 with a BFA majoring in portray. Zoe’s work is an investigation into the results of sunshine by means of a fabric pushed follow, working with supplies that maintain reflective, refractive or mild absorbing qualities.

Zoe is fascinated with making works which might be utterly involved with notion and expertise that’s formed or altered by means of the usage of these completely different supplies, creating temporal, non-physical dimensions.

Fiona Macpherson’s portray follow explores the nonlinear nature of therapeutic, whereas participating with an autobiographical narrative of trauma.

She lives and works on Gadigal land in Sydney, NSW, and is at the moment finishing a Bachelor of Superb Arts Honours at UNSW Artwork & Design.
