My photograph collection will discover a pivotal and enriching time in my life, the time I spent in Southern Africa with my mother and father writing, producing and recording my first releases, and my upcoming launch, Maintain Me.

I spent six weeks in Mozambique, the place my mother and father lived for a while, writing, recording and studying about manufacturing. This was my makeshift studio.. After I had set myself up, my dad added his personal contact – “Welcome to Shivi’s Studio Extraordinaire!”

The sweetest and most encouraging muses – my upcoming single is about my mother and father. They’ve countless quantities of help and encouragement for me in virtually every thing I do. Spending high quality time with them I really feel was a part of the rationale I felt so creatively free.

Mid-writing (that includes some tan strains 🙂 ) I wrote my first singles Golden, Over and Right here on this interval too, together with some others that I had needed to incorporate on the primary model of my EP. Maintain Me was a track I had fallen out of affection with till not too long ago, however I’m actually excited for it to be out on the earth…

After I had completed writing and recording my tracks, my mother and father and I acquired the chance to journey to Cape City to spend a while with my household. That allowed for lots of time to mirror.. And loads of lovely walks.

I had managed to study sufficient manufacturing to help my songwriting, written and recorded six songs, and spent a whooooole lotta time with my mother and father.
